The Penn State Center Philadelphia strengthens the agency of local and global communities and leaders in envisioning and implementing processes for social change. Through our work, we build long-term partnerships in and with diverse groups and urban constituencies through participatory processes to co-create meaningful, relevant, research-driven initiatives aimed to improve lives and strengthen democratic society.
The goal of the workshop was to foster meaningful relationships and design research that respects and amplifies the voices of those most affected by the work — an essential skill for any researcher, organizer, or student committed to community-driven solutions.
