Assistant Teaching Professor, Elementary and Early Childhood Education
Kathleen Fadigan, Ph.D., was granted to support rehabilitation and human services students from Penn State Abington in designing an eight-week healthy choices and drug and alcohol prevention curriculum for students at George Washington High School. The curriculum was based on community input and rehabilitation counseling best practices. At the end of the program, high school students visited campus, shadowed undergraduate students, and took part in campus tours and presentations.
