Kristen Goessling, Ph.D., was awarded a grant to redesign the Youth Development and Social Justice Certificate and offer it as a minor within the human development and family studies program. The Youth Development and Social Justice minor is offered to all Penn State students who wish to add sociopolitical analysis skill and practical experience working with diverse youth to their undergraduate major. The minor supports career goals in adolescent behavioral health, social work, advocacy and nonprofit administration, public policy, education, community organizing, and criminal justice.
